Mission Context

As part of a large-scale renewable hydrogen industrial project, you will join the Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) team to oversee all site activities related to electrical and instrumentation works during construction and commissioning phases. The project involves the implementation of next-generation electrolysis technology with high-capacity infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with on-site safety regulations in close collaboration with the HSE department

  • Manage a team of 3 to 5 supervisors dedicated to E&I works

  • Monitor site progress against the project schedule and proactively alert the site manager in case of deviations

  • Anticipate upcoming activities at a macro level

  • Oversee all electrical-related activities on site

  • Support the development and updating of the construction and pre-commissioning schedule

  • Track the progress of various suppliers

  • Ensure installation compliance with project plans

  • Enforce adherence to compagny’s quality standards

  • Monitor and assess design changes (via AFC issuance) to control quantities and assist design offices

  • Ensure that all inspections are conducted according to inspection plans with QA/QC support

  • Lead daily site coordination meetings with all teams

  • Validate weekly site progress using project-specific progress monitoring tools

  • Ensure required certifications are obtained for all plant components

  • Assist the contract specialist in validating/rejecting additional works per specifications

  • Draft technical specifications in collaboration with the project team

  • Conduct quality audits with the site quality manager

  • Maintain the quality file in alignment with the validated inspection plan

  • Capitalize on lessons learned (positive and negative) throughout the project to create an E&I closeout file

  • Organize weekly meetings with the engineering team to follow up on anomalies

Pré-requis du poste

  • Minimum 15 years of proven experience in electrical and instrumentation supervision on industrial sites

  • Strong technical background and qualifications in electrical systems

  • Designated as Electrical Responsible per local regulation (NEN 3140) for LV commissioning

  • Bilingual English required

  • Willingness to travel monthly to locations in France, Italy, or Poland

  • On-site presence required in the Netherlands
